Welcome to the only Walking Dead blog that has somebody who loves Gregory’s character, that would be me. \u00a0I am your host, Kent, and I ask the questions around here. \u00a0Then I have this awesome group of people who occasionally find merit in my questions and then they answer them. \u00a0It’s neat. \u00a0My sincerest thanks to Bob, Bitty, Teddy, Cece, Kristi, and Chris. \u00a0They all took various amounts of time to share their opinion, so please take the time to read it.<\/p>\n

    Bob: \u00a0Dwight! I can only hope!<\/span><\/p>\n

    Bitty: \u00a0My call is Dwight. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Teddy: \u00a0Well could be Daryl because he asked where Sasha was, but I honestly believe it\u2019s Dwight<\/span><\/p>\n

    Cece: \u00a0Apparently it’s Dwight.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Kristi: \u00a0<\/span>Dwight. I think he is going to help defeat Negan.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Chris: \u00a0It has to be Dwight. \u00a0Daryl couldn’t have made it there fast enough. \u00a0I think we\u2019re going to see Dwight turning on Negan soon.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Kent: \u00a0OK, everybody has chosen Dwight. \u00a0There\u2019s no reason that it can\u2019t be Daryl, despite people online saying that time is a factor. \u00a0Well, we don\u2019t know how long Sasha and Rosita were camped in the building. \u00a0It was long enough to go from day into the evening or night. \u00a0That is plenty of time considering that they only had an hour head start, maybe 2 at the most. \u00a0It\u2019s probably Dwight, but I am pleading my case for it to be Daryl. \u00a0That adds a whole level of suspense of whether he will get caught. \u00a0Dwight is obviously more interesting, but screw it.<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0Rosita’s idea to distract the walkers with the fire in the car: good idea or bad idea?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \"\"<\/p>\n

      Bob: \u00a0It is an okay idea. \u00a0Fire and smoke also attract the living so it was a decision lacking wisdom. \u00a0Rosita still only sees what is right in front of her, through the sunglasses of the past. \u00a0(I am glad that I wasn’t the only person wondering about the living aspect. \u00a0That was a huge red flag instantly.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Bitty: \u00a0It worked for what they needed. Fire always distracts them until they get bored! \u00a0(What is a zombie’s attention span, and is it longer than a millennial’s?)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Teddy: \u00a0It makes sense to distract zombies with fire…tale as old as time\u00a0(Song as old as rhyme? \u00a0If that wasn’t intentional, I still don’t apologize.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Cece: \u00a0Decent enough idea, I think. What else would they have done, really? \u00a0(Not brought attention to themselves. \u00a0You asked.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Kristi: \u00a0<\/span>Decent idea. I think she could have found an easier way than taking the time to cut the fence but I guess they needed a time filler. \u00a0(TWD with a time filler? \u00a0The hell you say! \u00a0That has NEVER happened!)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      Kent: \u00a0It was a bad idea, mmmkay. \u00a0They made an assumption that the vehicle didn\u2019t have any fuel in the tank, but if it had, think about the disaster potential. \u00a0Yes, everything worked out, so people will point to that as being the right decision, but a lot of right decisions backfire and a lot of bad decisions work out. \u00a0On top of that, that seemed like a big target for them knowing how many outposts there are. \u00a0It was typical, lazy TWD writing that we have all grown to accept. \u00a0Remember, Glenn magically rotated in mid air as did the ambulance with Daryl and Carol.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. \u00a0This show had a series of important conversations. \u00a0Which one was the best for you?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        \"\"<\/p>\n

        Bob: \u00a0Negan’s extended conversation with Carl was supreme. \u00a0Full of variations but all controlled by Negan. \u00a0I love how his part was played. \u00a0Frankly, Negan was acting as Carl\u2019s father more than Rick due to this episode. \u00a0(But….but Rick had that one conversation with Carl in the barn, and uhmmmm, he trusted him to shoot walkers a few times. \u00a0Sigh, you’re right.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Bitty: \u00a0All the conversations between Rick and Hershel. Hershel was one of the first to ever talk about how people aren’t in their right state of mind in the new world. Hershel was able to see the good and the evil. \u00a0(Herschel not only did that, but to piggyback on your thought, we actually got to see Herschel get it. \u00a0When the group took down the walkers in the barn, more importantly when Shane kept shooting the walker and it kept coming, we kind of saw Herschel’s whole realization process, to the point of driving him to drink and then find more humanity. \u00a0Such a great character. \u00a0Honestly, when I re-watch the show, I look forward to all of his scenes because of his transformation, in season 2 especially.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Teddy: \u00a0I believe the Stuff and Thangs is the most important convo outside the Corl meme. \u00a0(I don’t have much to add to that, but I will include this picture of my birthday gift from Bitty’s husband, Brian. \u00a0It’s relevant.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n

        Cece: \u00a0This is very true. There have been many. The main ones that have stuck out to me lately is Father Gabriel to Spencer or Negan to Carl. \u00a0(As a Gabriel fan, I find it troubling that he has become the moral compass of the show, and I fear for his safety. \u00a0Plus he’s black, and TWD history has not been kind to black dudes.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        Kent: \u00a0Man, my wording of these questions need to improve. \u00a0I was actually asking about this particular episode, BUT it appears that I may have not been as specific as I intended. \u00a0I will give my not for this week\u2019s episode to the Simon and Gregory conversation. \u00a0I was expecting some girl to go on about Daryl and Maggie with Maggie not being mad at Daryl, and then somebody else to go on about how the Sasha and Rosita thing felt nice because it brought back fond memories of Abraham. \u00a0Instead\u2026..well you read it. \u00a0So I guess in the spirit that everybody else took it, I will go with Tyrese and Carol, in one of the best acted moments of the show when she reveals to Tyrese that she killed what\u2019s her tits. \u00a0My mistake was saying show and not saying episode. \u00a0I need an angry nun ringing a bell behind me and yelling \u201cShame\u201d as I walk nude to Mayfield.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. \u00a0Will Gregory have the inner-testicular fortitude to meet Negan at Sanctuary on his own accord?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Bob: \u00a0I hope so because Gregory needs to see the iron. Or see someone get the iron. \u00a0I am surprised Gregory didn’t narc yet… \u00a0(Under what circumstances could you foresee Gregory getting the iron? \u00a0You have me intrigued.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          Bitty: \u00a0Oh Gregory. He\u2019s like the little kid who wants to hang out with the bad kids on the playground but ends up being the butt of the jokes. He has no balls. He will possibly make an attempt but I hope Maggie kicks his ass before that happens. \u00a0(Why Maggie and not Jesus? \u00a0Aside from the obvious info that I have from the books, but to me, it just seems like Jesus should be the one. \u00a0Just curious about your reasoning.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          Teddy: \u00a0Gregory has the testicular fortitude of mud…he wont meet Negan. He will die like the worm he is<\/span><\/p>\n

          Cece: \u00a0Hell no. He’s a pussy.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Kristi: \u00a0<\/span>I don’t think so. I’m kinda hoping he dies before he gets to do that. He is a very frustrating character. \u00a0(Some day you may be very happy.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          Kent: \u00a0I think that he is going to get so full of himself that he may decide to. \u00a0Maybe he senses the winds of change, like The Scorpions have before him, and then he a Big City Night with Negan in Sanctuary and asks him to Rock all of the rebel rousers Like A Hurricane. \u00a0Gregory will even refer to Hilltop as The Zoo. \u00a0He will then again bow and pledge his allegiance to Negan by telling him that there\u2019s No One Like You. \u00a0Yeah, go listen to the Scorpions while reading the rest of this. \u00a0I don\u2019t even have a real point. \u00a0I guess I say that he will because why else extend that invitation unless they are going to follow through on it?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

          1. \u00a0Should Sasha have tried to take the shot, wait it out, or go in guns blazing? \u00a0Yeah, none are great options, but choose one.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Bob: \u00a0Easily wait for the shot. \u00a0However, advertisers need their time slots as do other shows. \u00a0I am a little disturbed that they go to do this sniper mission and give it one attempt. \u00a0(Man, you people. \u00a0Always bringing up points about filling up time and advertisers. \u00a0But yeah, the give it one attempt thing cracked me up. \u00a0Rosita gets this great gun, then finds the one girl that she really doesn’t like, to get this mission accomplished. \u00a0They risk all sorts of things, and then see Negan for 15 seconds and are like, nahhhh.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            Bitty: \u00a0Wait it out. I’m not sure why they thought Negan would only come outside one time. Silly girls. \u00a0(I find that sexist and very offensive. \u00a0Really, they have seen him how many times, but now they think that this like Groundhog Day or some such nonsense. \u00a0Poor writing by TWD!)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            Teddy: \u00a0in any kind of assassination attempt it seems retarded to go in guns blazing. That is the fastest way to insure you do not kill your target. Shot from a distance is easily the best option because it allows for an escape. \u00a0(Yeah, glad you mocked the guns blazing strategy so I didn’t have to. \u00a0Of course, I am also a big believer in “If I ain’t dyin’, I ain’t tryin’, but I use that philosophy mainly in video games. \u00a0Mainly.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            Cece: \u00a0She should have waited until there was a definite, clear time to snipe his ass. \u00a0(As I have learned in Zelda, sniping the ass rarely gets you the meat that you need to make a delicious meal. \u00a0Just saying.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            Kristi: \u00a0<\/span>Wait it out. He was bound to come outside again. \u00a0(How awesome would it be if he had a body double? \u00a0Think about it!)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            Kent: \u00a0I am a firm believer in taking the shot, but only if you have a 50% chance or higher of succeeding. \u00a0You see, I have been playing The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, and I keep getting impatient when I am trying to hunt the buffalo or whatever the hell they are, and I sometimes only get them in the chest or neck and it\u2019s not an insta kill, and then they run off. \u00a0Same principle here. \u00a0You have to get a \u00a0critical hit or else it\u2019s not worth that bullet or arrow in my case. \u00a0So the correct answer is to wait it out.<\/span><\/p>\n

            1. \u00a0Do you agree with Gregory when he said that the new people need to start doing jobs and pulling their own weight? \u00a0Also, why is Gregory so pissed at Jesus?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

              Bob: \u00a0I agree with ends of Gregory’s statement, that everyone should do their fair share but I really feel he was trying to do 9 of two things. \u00a0I mean, 1 of 2 things. \u00a09th, he is trying to lamely attempt to regain control and distract from this rebellion or 2nd, he wants to keep an eye on people and hold them accountable so he can rat on them that way when they haven’t produced enough for the Saviors. \u00a0(And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you guarantee yourself winning a question. \u00a09 Deuce references will get you everywhere on this blog. \u00a0I really did enjoy the 2nd point, as I hadn’t considered it, but it is so something Gregory would do. \u00a0I like it!)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

              Bitty: \u00a0Haven’t the new people already been doing jobs? Training the village how to fight! Jesus is a threat and Gregory knows this. \u00a0(While your point is valid and I agree with it, can we just take a moment to think about how much better that training montage would have been with “You’re the Best” by Joe Esposito? \u00a0 I sadly knew his name without having to look it up. \u00a0Seriously, give us more montage and less Sasha and Rosita tying knots. \u00a0Also, more vegetables guy!)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
