Not much else happening.   My name is Kent, and I ask 5 weekly questions and then people answer them.\u00a0 Any comments in <strong>BOLD<\/strong> are written by me.\u00a0 I hope you enjoy and if you or someone you know may want to do this blog, contact me, leave a comment, whatever.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.\u00a0 Should the group have crossed the border to put out the fire or for any other reasons?\u00a0 Also, give me your thoughts on the satellite.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob:\u00a0 If they wanted to avoid war, let it burn. And for goodness sake, leave the super zombies alone on the bridge. Oh, they were normal zombies, Aaron was just having an adolescent moment\u2026 If they were afraid of food supplies, fire causes regrowth in plants and new places for animals, sooo.\u00a0 They built a trench and did a control burn. Why give your people respiratory problems when you do not have to.<br><br>The satellite makes sense. They will all eventually fall to the Earth. <strong>(Thank you for bringing up the respiratory problems.\u00a0 I mean, that was going to be the crux of my comment, but I\u2019ll say something else.\u00a0 This whole thing seemed dangerous and incredibly foolish.  And yes, satellites do have to come down at some point.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raylene: I would say yes because their community was in jeopardy even if it was awful Oceanside. Perhaps it was sent by Trump.\u00a0 <strong>(So you, of all people, are okay with saving Oceanside?\u00a0 Listen, without Twitter, Trump wouldn\u2019t be around.  The moment Twitter went down, he would have turned to ash like Maya did in Borderlands 3.\u00a0 Fact.  Now let\u2019s never bring up politics ever again.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chris:\u00a0 The fire could have spread and endangered the communities.\u00a0 Smokey Bear would have been proud!  A Russian satellite randomly crashing in Virginia seems kind of crazy, but we are talking about a show where people wear zombie skin.\u00a0 <strong>(So I was going to correct you and say that his name is Smokey THE Bear, but thankfully I did research and found out that both ways are correct and I have spared myself any foolishness.\u00a0 Mankind has been wearing some form of skin since the dawn of man.  This just seems like evolution, doesn\u2019t it?)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent:&nbsp; Let me start off with a video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fear The Walking Dead S03E08 - Victor talks to a Russian cosmonaut\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CaOl6K54lFE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption>I don&#8217;t own the rights to this video.  AMC probably does.  Support them!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead, Victor Strand had contact with a Russian Cosmonaut.&nbsp; As soon as I saw a USSR satellite, I immediately made the connection.  I liked that aspect.  I won\u2019t be surprised to see this mentioned in a foreign version of TWD, like when they are in Europe or Australia.&nbsp; &nbsp; Now, let\u2019s talk about the other big revelation here that wasn\u2019t so obvious until it was obvious.  If you think about it, Oceanside has to be VERY close to Alexandria.  I base this on how fast residents of Alexandria made it to the fire.&nbsp; Once again, I just wish that we had a map to base things off of.  We all know that Eugene has to have a very detailed map.  Show it to us!!!  Also, I get that you can\u2019t let Oceanside die.  They also had all of that water at their disposal.&nbsp; That was very convenient for something so inconvenient.  I say you listen to Nickelback\u2019s \u201cBurn It To The Ground\u201d and realize that the ZA wasn\u2019t all terrible.  Nickelback finally stopped making music in the ZA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.\u00a0 Aaron and Michonne seemed to be on opposite pages at times.\u00a0 Whose side do you take?  Yes, pick one side.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob:\u00a0 I can&#8217;t pick a side between these two. I see it this way&#8230;If Michonne is being a bonehead, then Aaron will be doing the right thing. Vice versa too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raylene:\u00a0 I say Michonne she seems to be level headed most of the time. Aaron likes to react and then think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chris:\u00a0 Michonne.\u00a0 While anger is justified, it makes more sense to have a methodical approach.\u00a0 Think before acting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent:\u00a0 I trust in the character who is going to remain on the show, no matter how shortsighted and foolish it is.\u00a0 Plus, I am so sick of Michonne.  She\u2019s become my Daenerys Stormborn of this show. She started off as this cool badass character, but midway through her run, I started seeing cracks in her character long before others were willing to admit to it.\u00a0 I should have never trusted her when she helped Andrea.  Then I stopped trusting her when she started to get a little bit of Rick in her.  Then came that stupid scars episode.  So while I approve of the Sloth Life, slow and methodical approach, I\u2019m siding with Aaron here. I also really ran out of questions, so I apologize for this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.\u00a0 Did you like how the show was divided with titles for each segment, such as Skin, Bird Wisdom, Sea Dogs, New Mexico, and Embers?\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob:\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t know if I was in a commercial or not. Like the show is trying to make you think about the title and connect it to the scene. <strong>(I think at least 3 of the 5 were said during their respective segments.\u00a0 The creativity was&#8230;put on the back burner so to speak.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raylene:\u00a0 It was alright although it just seemed lacking for a season premiere. <strong>(And they knew it was lacking because you could have watched it 5 or 7 days in advance with AMC Premiere.\u00a0 Most of the episodes are only 2 days in advance.  Still, ain\u2019t worth my $5 a month, but I have considered it.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chris:\u00a0 Eh it was fine.\u00a0 I don\u2019t think it added anything. <strong>(I am fine with it if they keep it all season.\u00a0 I highly doubt that they will.  This episode wasn\u2019t special enough to warrant it.\u00a0 That\u2019s my complaint or concern, depending on perspective.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent:&nbsp; I\u2019ll say that I actually liked it.&nbsp; I didn\u2019t think the execution was top-notch, but I would be good with this being a weekly thing.&nbsp; I would like to see more wit with the wording though.  It\u2019s season 10, have some fun with it.  If this is the only episode, then it was a poor decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.\u00a0 We know that Michonne is leaving the show.\u00a0 We also saw Carol and Alpha see each other at the end.\u00a0 Was this the show\u2019s way of telling us that we\u2019re getting Carol versus Alpha?\u00a0 We also see Michonne and Ezekiel together in a season preview.  Carol seemed to dismiss Ezekiel.\u00a0 Daryl seems interested in Connie.  Still, the show gave us a lot of Carol and Daryl.  Any thoughts on all of this?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob:\u00a0 I think Ned Stark and Peter Griffin are going to fight it out. I hope it is a preview of a C v A showdown. <strong>(And we have our second GoT reference.\u00a0 How bout that?  I could see Carol vs Alpha be like Peter vs the Chicken, back when that was really funny.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raylene:\u00a0 Mother to Mother showdown I think Carol would make a badass Alpha. Ezekiel still seems to harbor jealousy of Carol&#8217;s love for Daryl. I&#8217;ll be shocked if Daryl actually has a love interest. <strong>(The thing is that Ezekiel misunderstands Carol\u2019s affection for Daryl.\u00a0 He perceives it as romantic, one can safely assume.  Carol would make a fantastic Alpha, but I digging her hair, so I am torn.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chris:\u00a0 They better give us Carol vs Alpha.\u00a0 I know that\u2019s not how it happens in the comics, but I don\u2019t care!\u00a0 I swear if Arya kills Alpha too\u2026\u2026..  I have never really seen why everyone wants Daryl to hook up with carol.\u00a0 I\u2019ve always seen it as more of a brother\/sister thing.  <strong>(Honestly, I think the show has long given up on really following the comic once they killed Carl.\u00a0 That was their way of saying that they are going to carve their own unique path, very foolishly.  While Carol and Daryl is certainly more akin to a sibling relationship, all the bored housewives at home sit there with their devices and fantasize about whether Darol or Caryl is the best way to \u201cship\u201d them.\u00a0 I hate every word in that last sentence and I feel unclean.  Carol sails the seas, Arya sailed the seas.  Ohhhhh shit.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent:&nbsp; Ezekiel is gonna get pissed off and desperate because he sees far too many happy relationships. Jerry is always rubbing it in his face, off-screen, of course.&nbsp; Ezekiel has lost his backup plan in Enid.  So yeah, he\u2019s gonna go for Grimey seconds.  I think Connie is barking up the wrong tree, shout out to Dog, by the way.&nbsp; They actually have a Dog Funko Pop coming out in December, along with Alpha and a couple of others.  No Beta though.  I plan on getting Alpha at the very least.  I would like a playset of all the heads on spikes.&nbsp; This episode was fairly meh and I am getting off-topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.\u00a0 Who do you think will become the alpha father figure of Rosita&#8217;s baby, Coco?\u00a0 Will it be Siddiq, Gabriel, or the Eugenius?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob:\u00a0 Gabrielle. He is the alpha of that group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raylene:\u00a0 Eugene all the way. Siddiq is losing his mind. Gabe will be more of a church Father than regular dad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chris:\u00a0 I hope Eugene.\u00a0 Siddiq is going to go insane, and, well, I don\u2019t have a good Gabriel excuse, but Eugene is awesome!\u00a0 He deserves to win at something!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent:&nbsp; We all know that I am cheering on Eugene.&nbsp; The thing is, the best solution is for Gabe to be the main daddy.&nbsp; Eugene has a ton of important things going on, including a radio that needs his attention.&nbsp; I loved all the charts, I truly did.  But Siddiq is a definite NO for everybody because of his PTSD.&nbsp; I am curious if he will snap or see someone and hurt them that isn\u2019t really an enemy.  Gabriel doesn\u2019t have much going on since Ann left him.&nbsp; Gabriel is also excellent with children.  I say that Gabe will be able to give the most attention and best guidance and Eugene truly feels like an uncle figure, not a father figure.&nbsp; I want pickles now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Thoughts &#8211; What is your GMA (Glenn Memorial Award) nominee for this week\u2019s most inane scene or moment?\u00a0 Also, does anybody else find it odd that Ryan Hurst (Beta) is billed ahead of Samantha Morton (Alpha)?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bob:\u00a0 The fire thing, I see what they were trying to do, but it just comes off silly. They spent all night fighting that thing?\u00a0 <strong>(All night, and they are right to the side of an Ocean, per the name.\u00a0 But yeah, all night with all that smoke inhalation.  Yup.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raylene:\u00a0 The fact that after all these years they found a fairly new looking and intact fishing boat. Nah nothing seems odd after the shows firing on Chandler.\u00a0 <strong>(And we get our second Carl grievance of the blog.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kent:&nbsp; I had a few things here among my copious notes.&nbsp; The Ghostbuster type backpacks filled with water.&nbsp; Like, they already had them made, so they had a plan, but it seemed like they didn\u2019t have a plan.&nbsp; Aaron\u2019s foolishness early on is probably my answer.  That is until Carol and Alpha stare at each other after all of this time has passed.&nbsp; That won it for me this week.  I think Alpha is dead by midseason.  Wait, I think you all deserve to hear this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So The Whisperers are pissed and they are going to go on an all-out assault on Alexandria.&nbsp; Negan and Judith will end up in a house together and Negan will fight to keep her alive.  After this assault, Michonne will give Negan his precious Lucille back.&nbsp; Negan will then go and do the comic thing with Alpha.  Then Beta takes over and that is why he is billed ahead of Alpha.  The big twist is that Negan comes back, doesn\u2019t like Michonne\u2019s tone and he bashes her stupid head in too.&nbsp; Then Negan blames it on Beta.
