So it begins.\u00a0 We got some badass apples, and the bodies were hitting the floor this week.\u00a0 Brock returned, Coco had amazing hair, and Mallory learned that she can do shit.\u00a0 Oh, and we have witches!\u00a0\u00a0If you’re new to the blog, my name is Kent and I ask the questions and get some unique answers.\u00a0 Any comments in bold are from me unless otherwise stated.\u00a0 Please enjoy!<\/p>\n

  1. \u00a0That confrontation in the opening segment between Langdon and Mallory was interesting. \u00a0That seems like a sign of things to come. Mallory has some potential dark phoenix power. \u00a0Do you think that Coco or Dinah Stevens have any powers? Will any other women be resurrected by our 3 old gal pals from Coven?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Kristi: \u00a0I do see powers coming. It wouldn’t be a Coven crossover if they didn’t. Yes, we are going into some Coven shit now. \u00a0This season has me super intrigued. I’m excited to see what it brings us! <\/span>(Isn\u2019t it nice when this show is done properly?)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Raylene: I think the others have powers just not a strong as Mallory\u2019s I would\u2019ve enjoyed Joan Collins being thrown in the mix with them. \u00a0<\/span>(I still think it is going to happen, or else my prediction last week is going to make me look foolish.)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Cece: \u00a0I don\u2019t know what their powers may be. Hers was pretty cool. So, we will have to see what the others can do! \u00a0<\/span>(For a second there, I was thinking, Drew Barrymore, is that you?)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Eric: \u00a0Coco and Dinah don\u2019t have any powers. I think they will be in some part of right place right time situation. <\/span>(Eric, your words give me hope that I will get to hear \u201cRight Place Wrong Time\u201d.)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Melanie: \u00a0I think Coco doesn\u2019t have powers but will be some sort of bait and will die a couple more times. Not sure about Dinah. No one else will be resurrected or they all will, lol. \u00a0<\/span>(Dinah seems like a wildcard in this because Adina gets good roles as of late. \u00a0Coco really could be bait, and if so, I am good with it. I love that lady!)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Tom: \u00a0I do think all three have powers do to the fact they resurrected they’re \u201csisters\u201d. I think they will probably bring back at least some of the others because there seems to be some story arcs that haven’t played out yet. <\/span>(Thanks Tom, now I really don\u2019t have to write an answer. \u00a0I mean I will, but still.)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Kayleigh: \u00a0Yes, we learned in Coven that their powers can come out when they’re under distress. \u00a0I think their powers will show themselves. As far as any other \u201cwomen\u201d that might be resurrected, \u00a0I hope not. <\/span>(That\u2019s been true since the dawn of mankind, or at least 1976 when Carrie unleashed her wrath.)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Kelly: \u00a0I am interested in finding out how the Hell Coco is going to play into this as a witch. Gah, couldn’t they have left her dead? Dinah, I’m sure will be related to Angela Basset’s Coven character. And don’t forget her son! I think she’s the one who made the snake soup alive again. I have a feeling Mallory will be a descendant of the Supreme somehow. \u00a0<\/span>(I almost got through everyone\u2019s responses without a Marie Laveau reference and that was going to be my niche. \u00a0Thanks. Yeah, I think that there is absolutely a connection there. Coco is the most interesting one for me at the moment, but Adina is going to prove more important I would guess.)<\/b><\/p>\n

    Kent: \u00a0Yes, I think Coco is a simpleton who is unaware of her powers. \u00a0Keep in mind, sometimes they don\u2019t know about their powers until shit gets real. \u00a0So consider that ignorance is bliss. Coco has been presumably spoiled her whole life and may have rarely ever been under true distress and wouldn\u2019t know about her power. \u00a0I am so happy that she is back. I do believe, as I stated last week, that Joan will be brought back as seems likely to have some more screen time. Finally, Dinah seems likely to have a connection to Marie. \u00a0This season is all about connections to the past. Will anybody be connected to Madame Delphine LaLaurie (Kathy Bates in Coven)?<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0Mead is a robot, we now have clarification on that. \u00a0That leads me to other questions. Did she use to exist as a person? \u00a0Why did she have to wear the mask when she went outside? Did Constance in season 1 have access to a goddamn robot?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Kristi: \u00a0I don’t think she existed before. As for the mask, my thought would be so that she didn’t get any contaminants on her to infect the others. <\/span>(I hadn\u2019t considered the containment aspect. \u00a0This is why I ask the questions.)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Raylene: I think at some point there was a real person and Langdon created Mead out of her image since he said that she was the only person that truly understood him. I think Mead wore the mask because she didn\u2019t know she was a robot until she had gotten shot and saw for herself. \u00a0<\/span>(It\u2019s a good question. \u00a0When did Mead have her moment of self-realization?)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Cece: \u00a0I believe she is a robot created for Langdon with Constance\u2019s memories. And it\u2019s interesting. She was obviously a human at some point with Kathy Bates\u2019 face. \u00a0<\/span>(Interesting thought on having Constance\u2019s memories. \u00a0I like that.)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Eric: \u00a0Constance was a resourceful lady and created Mead with her memories for Langdon. Her skin came from a human. <\/span>(Ohhhhh shit, a skinned human? \u00a0These theories just keep getting better. \u00a0I thought this question was going to yield lame results. \u00a0I was wrong.)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Melanie: \u00a0Mead is a human skin sack of a real person that crossed Constance. This human sack conveniently fit over Constance’s robot and the robot was filled with memories for Langdon. <\/span>(Melanie, you have a way with words this particular season. \u00a0I like that \u201chuman skin sack\u201d is in this blog. I may use it as a tag for the blog.)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Tom: \u00a0Yes, I believe she was designed after a real person and programmed with her memories as Langdon alluded to. I think she might have worn the mask to keep up appearances, either for the others or for anyone arriving. I don’t think robots had anything to do with season one. \u00a0<\/span>(I thought the keeping up appearances thing as well. \u00a0But I like Kristi\u2019s thought regarding the contaminants now. \u00a0Maybe it\u2019s both!)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Kayleigh: \u00a0I think she was made in the image of a real woman. \u00a0I think she wore a mask so no one else would know she’s a robot. <\/span>(This is what you and I talked about. \u00a0It makes a lot of sense. I want to know if Amazon Eve knew.)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Kelly: \u00a0I think there’s a possibility she could have been human at a stage in her life. I wonder, with the mask being a thing, if she’s humanoid and still has needs that humans do, like breathing or eating? I took from Langdon speaking to her about how he modeled her from the one person who ever cared for him if he was talking about Constance since we’re left at the end of Murder House with her ecstatic to have a baby. I can only assume she did love him. \u00a0<\/span>(Ohhh, you\u2019re right. \u00a0We don\u2019t know what needs this robot could have. \u00a0That\u2019s a very good point. I am digging today\u2019s blog.)<\/b><\/p>\n

      Kent: \u00a0I don\u2019t have much to add. \u00a0Everybody is on their A game so far. \u00a0I would add the possibility of an unknown babysitter. \u00a0Yes, as Kelly pointed out, Constance was ecstatic to have the baby. \u00a0Who knows how long she lived beyond that? So fudge it, I am hoping for a babysitter, and possibly for it to be Alexandra Breckenridge as the maid. \u00a0Please, give your straight male audience and lesbian audience something to applaud.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. \u00a0The carriage with the apples. \u00a0Was there somebody driving it at some point? \u00a0It seems a bit odd that the horses knew how to get there, right? \u00a0I guess this season we can chalk anything up to the fact that there is an Antichrist and witches, so disbelief must be suspended at times. \u00a0Still, I find this odd.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Kristi: \u00a0I’m thinking the horses are robots. <\/span>(I really haven\u2019t considered the idea of robot horses, but it is a possibility. \u00a0We do know that radiation can affect them, but that doesn\u2019t mean much yet with a lack of info.)<\/b><\/p>\n

        Raylene: I think Langdon control them from the bunker no driver per say<\/span><\/p>\n

        Cece: \u00a0This was interesting. I\u2019m guessing since it\u2019s a technology-based world, that things could work with them sending the horses some specific way. I really don\u2019t have an answer to this. \u00a0<\/span>(Soooo Westworld?)<\/b><\/p>\n

        Eric: \u00a0Remote control devil power. <\/span><\/p>\n

        Melanie: \u00a0I agree with Eric. It was driven remotely by the devil. <\/span><\/p>\n

        Tom: \u00a0I’m more curious how Brock caught up to the carriage on foot. \u00a0I tend to think there was no passenger and the horses just knew the way. Brock couldn’t steer the horses from under the carriage, nor did he know the way. \u00a0<\/span>(So what you\u2019re telling me is that Brock couldn\u2019t show them the way to go home? \u00a0I wonder if those horses were tired and wanted to go to bed. Seriously though, how the hell did he catch up?)<\/b><\/p>\n

        Kayleigh: \u00a0I think there was a driver that was killed by Brock before the carriage arrived. \u00a0<\/span>(I\u2019m nodding in agreement.)<\/b><\/p>\n

        Kelly: \u00a0I think it was either run by magic or the horses could be like Mead and are part android-part living being, therefore their “computer” was programmed where to go.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Kent: \u00a0So it appears a lot of you are going with the most likely scenario of Langdon controlling them, whether they were living or robotic. \u00a0You are probably right. Kayleigh is the only one with my initial thoughts, and since I like to live and die on random things, I do believe that there was a driver. \u00a0Brock is a badass gangsta now. My only question is how long did he have to Cape Fear that ride? Also, am I the only person that thought of Sideshow Bob from the Simpsons parody of Cape Fear? \u00a0Yeah, I probably am. Search YouTube for Sideshow Bob Cactus Patch. I\u2019m not linking it here because FOX is very protective of that particular property.<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. \u00a0Sooo almost everybody got got, and a few got resurrected. \u00a0This can\u2019t be it for Evan Peters, can it? Did this feel rushed in killing off so many people, or is this a good pace?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

          Kristi: \u00a0It felt like the Red Wedding to me. I think Evan will come back in some way. \u00a0<\/span>(Okay, I must admit, I expected at least 3 to 4 Red Wedding references, yet here we are, and it is just you. \u00a0I am shocked. I agree with you though. It was just missing \u201cThe Rains of Castamere\u201d.)<\/b><\/p>\n

          Raylene: I am pleased with everyone getting got was hoping it was like murder house were nobody stayed dead but as of now that\u2019s not the case. Evan will be back you said he played like 4 characters in last season so he\u2019ll be utilized the same way. \u00a0<\/span>(Let\u2019s face it, this has been a waste of his talent so far this season, but he will make a comeback.)<\/b><\/p>\n

          Cece: \u00a0It was perfectly paced. Those new characters were merely there to give extra plot to the base of the real story. Evan Peters will be here AS TATE! \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0<\/span>(I am really just hoping we are done with the young couple and Dinah\u2019s son. \u00a0They served their tiny purpose.)<\/b><\/p>\n

          Eric: \u00a0Super rushed! <\/span>(This was my initial reaction as well. \u00a0Then I found out that there are only 10 episodes and they had to rush through this to give enough time to go back and explore more of season 1 and give us witches. \u00a0Consider this a necessary evil of adhering to a 10 episode season.)<\/b><\/p>\n

          Melanie: \u00a0Only those three will come back because they aren\u2019t duplicates of other characters. Also, thank God it was fast because that story line was weird. I am so glad to see my girls! My favorite badass b\/witches!!! <\/span>(I feel bewitched reading your comments.)<\/b><\/p>\n

          Tom: \u00a0Way too fast! \u00a0I feel AHS always kills some characters too fast, just as you start to get vested into their storyline. \u00a0<\/span>(I will prod you here. \u00a0Which characters were you getting vested into that got got and not resurrected? \u00a0For me, it would be Venable and Evie.)<\/b><\/p>\n

          Kayleigh: \u00a0No, I think we’ll see a good portion of those characters that were killed come back. <\/span>(Sooooo, if I am understanding you right, you are saying that it\u2019s possible that the witches may need a zombie army. \u00a0And they may be wondering, Who Do You Voodoo Bitch? Angela Bassett is so making an appearance!)<\/b><\/p>\n
