The group needs to get out of the hospital and Morgan makes that happen while trying to make peace with Jim.\u00a0 Alicia and Charlie rescue John and Strand and then everybody joins up together.\u00a0 Martha gets captured.\u00a0 Oh, and someone dies.\u00a0 My name is Kent, and for Fear The Walking Dead, I only ask 5 questions and some final thoughts to make this blog a little more compact your reading pleasure.\u00a0 Any comments in\u00a0BOLD<\/strong> are written by me.\u00a0 I hope you enjoy and if you or someone you know may want to do this blog, contact me, leave a comment, whatever.\u00a0 The contact info is at the bottom of this blog.<\/p>\n ____________________________________________<\/p>\n Bob: \u00a0Yes, but only as long as things are going his way. \u00a0<\/span>(Things have not been going his way too frequently since\u2026.well since they found Abigail, the ship, not the man.)<\/b><\/p>\n Raylene: \u00a0I do like the occasional optimistic Strand but before too long he\u2019ll go back to brooding moody Strand. \u00a0All it usually takes is one hiccup in a plan for him to give up his optimism. <\/span>(He is a calculating individual. \u00a0It\u2019s how he was successful in the before time. \u00a0When you have everything mapped out and think like that, improvising is a harsh mistress. \u00a0That\u2019s why he broods I feel.)<\/b><\/p>\n Kent: \u00a0Optimistic Strand can be the most manipulative guy in the room, the snake oil salesman, and I love that quality about him. \u00a0I can relate more with moody drunk Strand though, unfortunately. Ya know, because I\u2019m moody all the time, not the drunk part\u2026.unless I\u2019m drunk. \u00a0<\/span>(You\u2019re drunk.) \u00a0(Shut up, nobody\u2019s talking to you!)<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bob: \u00a0She isn’t changing. \u00a0She is a severe mental illness due to trauma. <\/span>(This is the REASONABLE response. \u00a0Probably the RIGHT response.)<\/b><\/p>\n Raylene: \u00a0They were not thinking to leave her unsupervised, which was a dumb move, but the show can be full of them. I don\u2019t think you can bring her back from the abyss in her mind she is too far gone. Like when Governor slaughtered all his people after the fall of Woodbury. \u00a0<\/span>(You were soooo close to making the right reference. \u00a0Governor is synonymous with too far gone, but the episode you are referring to is called \u201cWelcome To the Tombs\u201d. \u00a0The episode called \u201cToo Far Gone\u201d was the midseason final of season 4 when Herschel, Governor, Meghan, and Mitch all got got. \u00a0It was also Volume 13 of the comics which includes issues 73-78 which is when the group first arrives and settles into Alexandria including all of the Pete and Jessie stuff and when Pete kills Regina (Deanna in the show) and has a group similar to the Wolves.)<\/b><\/p>\n Kent: \u00a0Tara used to be \u201ctoo far gone\u201d and now look at her, a thriving member of a very split and broken community. \u00a0Anything can happen. I am cautiously optimistic that she can turn around or last long enough into next season because I think she is such a great actress and character.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bob: \u00a0No.<\/span><\/p>\n Raylene: \u00a0I am going to say perhaps Martha or Morgan gets bite. \u00a0<\/span>(Morgan ain\u2019t getting got. \u00a0Morgan don\u2019t die. If he gets bit, I will shave my head!)<\/b><\/p>\n Kent: \u00a0With Jim going down and Madison and Nick earlier, I don\u2019t think so. \u00a0If it is going to be someone, it\u2019s Luciana. Morale compasses like to get got.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bob: \u00a0Yeah, I was glad he finally achieved being a responsible human being. No way was his brain intact after that jump. \u00a0<\/span>(It was odd seeing Jim being responsible.)<\/b><\/p>\n Raylene: \u00a0Yeah I guess he did create the distraction but he didn\u2019t want to be a walker so he really didn\u2019t get what he wanted. I felt Jim was just an expendable character other than the beer he brought nothing to the group. <\/span>(Jim brought drama and finger pointing. \u00a0Those are invaluable skills in a zombie apocalypse show.)<\/b><\/p>\n Kent: \u00a0He died a hero in that his distraction allowed others to live. \u00a0That is what we tend to consider heroic, right? I liked Jim because he was a dick, but he was passionate about something in life, and to me, that is somewhat relatable. \u00a0I get why he is not well liked, but he was one of the more realistic characters in this show. The ZA will really make you think in different ways, and I felt that this was a good example. \u00a0Plus, I like beer. Cheers, Jim!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bob: \u00a0Most likely a spice OR the removal of one ingredient. \u00a0<\/span>(I love the idea of the removal of an ingredient knowing that it was likely they were being listened to. \u00a0I just wish I had thought of it first.)<\/b><\/p>\n Raylene: \u00a0Perhaps a rare ingredient I am not familiar with any alcohol making process <\/span>(It\u2019s liquid bread. \u00a0It\u2019s good for you.)<\/b><\/p>\n Kent: \u00a0The timing of when to add something seems paramount and without knowing the timing, you could have nasty brew after nasty brew, or so my inclination goes. \u00a0I want some Octoberfest Sam Adams now.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Final Thoughts – Do you like when the group always ends up reuniting in some capacity every single season, or do you find it unrealistic or cheesy?<\/span><\/p>\n Bob: \u00a0I like the cheesiness. It’s hope! \u00a0<\/span>(Ahhh, the power of positivity. \u00a0I like to believe in the power of cheese, but to each their own.)<\/b><\/p>\n Raylene: \u00a0First of all I believe in the preview for this episode they showed Wendell and Charlie together so can you call that a win? At this point it is almost expected for the gang to reunite in the walking universe. In reality I feel it wouldn’t happen so easily. \u00a0<\/span>(Hold up! \u00a0\u00a0You\u2019re going to pretend that I remember what I may or may have not seen in a preview? \u00a0Ha, laughable man! I don\u2019t remember that at all. Now I am going to see if I can find it.)<\/b><\/p>\n Kent: \u00a0First off, last week I asked you who you would like to see Wendell paired up with. \u00a0I said Charlie. Did you SEE that happen? Now time for me to get 9 things wrong in a row to make up for getting lucky once. \u00a0It\u2019s silly, it is predictable, but it\u2019s also the point.
